Arrivals

From Glen Innes:
- Travel 18 km west on the Gwydir Highway.
- Turn right onto Waterloo Road (church on the corner).
- The Waterloo Road sign is well marked with a turning lane.
From Inverell:
- Travel 50 km east on the Gwydir Highway.
- Turn left onto Waterloo Road (same corner with church).
On Waterloo Road:
- Drive for nearly 1 km.
- Cross the wooden bridge over Wellingrove Creek.
- Look for the blue Waterloo Station signpost on the left, just after the bridge.
Arrival at the Homestead:
- Continue along the driveway and enter via the front staircase.
- Parking is available further along the road past the staircase.
- Please do not block the driveway.
Alternative Entry:
- Drive to the rear of the homestead and look for the OFFICE sign and bell at the back door.
- Guests are usually greeted on arrival although if unattended, please enter through the back courtyard or front staircase
- Someone will assist you shortly.

Turn right onto Waterloo Road
Waterloo Road is well signposted and has a turning lane off the Gwydir Hwy
Follow Waterloo Road for nearly 1 km
Just before crossing the wooden bridge (marked with yellow arrows), turn right into the paddock gateway on the right
Ahead, you’ll see the Shearing Shed
Continue further, veer left, and you’ll reach the Shearer’s Quarters
Please let yourselves in — rooms will be unlocked

Travel 18 km west from Glen Innes on the Gwydir Highway towards Inverell
OR
Travel 50 km east from Inverell on the Gwydir Highway.
Turn right onto Waterloo Road.
- Waterloo Road is well signposted and has a turning lane off the Gwydir Highway.
After passing the Waterloo Church, continue on Waterloo Road for about 1 km.
Turn into the paddock gateway just BEFORE the bridge crossing., the large Waterloo Shearing Shed will be in view.
Travel past the shearing shed and follow the paddock road.
Continue along the main track and go over the brow of the hill.
Keep following the track until you see the roof of the Creek Shack.
Turn left to reach the shack.
If unsure or arriving in the dark:
- Go to the The Managers residence and we will take you to the location.
- To reach the Managers house:
  - Travel over the bridge on Waterloo Road.
  - Continue on until you arrive at 102 Waterloo Road. This is the managers residence of Waterloo Station.

(Or 50 km east from Inverell towards Glen Innes.)
Turn right onto Waterloo Road (the church is on the corner; well signposted).
Follow Waterloo Road for about 1 km.
After crossing the wooden bridge, turn left into the Waterloo driveway.
Look for the blue “Waterloo Station” signage at the driveway.
Continue along the treed driveway to the back of the homestead.
The Stockman’s Cottage is located through the next paddock and is visible from the back of the homestead area.
- Follow the “Stockman’s Cottage” sign directing you through the gateway into the next paddock

Travel 18 km west from Glen Innes on the Gwydir Highway towards Inverell.
- (Or 50 km east from Inverell towards Glen Innes.)
Turn right onto Waterloo Road (the church is on the corner; well signposted).
Follow Waterloo Road for about 1 km.
After crossing the wooden bridge, turn left into the Waterloo driveway.
- Look for the blue “Waterloo Station” signage at the driveway.
Follow the treed driveway to the back of the homestead.
- Do not turn into the homestead yard.
The Schoolhouse is located at the back of the homestead, on the left, facing into the homestead garden.
